Membership Committee (MC) Guidelines The M.C. is in charge of: Editing and distributing the official membership list, The collection of the annual dues, and Organizing membership drives like "welcome to new members" in the summer. Committee's guidelines to conduct its activities: The MC should should have at least three active members including the President who is in charge of the Committee to: 1. -Plan their yearly activities and divide the work among them 2. –Send in February their yearly plan of activities and budget to the Executive Committee (EC) 3. –Send In December their annual report to the EC 4. -Attend the monthly meetings to present the monthly report or e-mailed it to the EC 5.- Send the annual dues reminder to the members in December. ( Annual dues without penalty are in January) 6. - Publish the updated membership lists at least once a year. 7.-Consider to collect past dues and update personal information during the activities of Council 8.- Organize the membership drives like the "welcome to new members party" in the summer. Addressing the who, when, where, how and why of the event. Take advantages of the opportunity to collect past dues , Sell raffle tickets to offset the expenses of the event and register new members.
